The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Offers the Power You Want

Recently, we detailed all of the exciting standard and available features offered in the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. We thought we'd follow that up with some information about the highly-decorated minivan's performance, which is decidedly unlike what you'd expect of the class.

When you're traveling on SD-37 N from Mitchell SD to Huron SD, you don't want to be toddling along the way. The Pacifica comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that mates with a 9-speed automatic transmission to manufacture 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine is equipped with a start/stop system that cuts engine power when you're sitting at a light, or if you're in stop-and-go traffic. This helps improve engine efficiency, helping the Pacifica earn EPA-estimated fuel economy of 19 mpg city and 28 mpg on the highway -- making the Pacifica one of the most efficient minivans on the American roads! If you don't like the start/stop system, you can disable it with the push of a button.

Then there's the Pacifica Hybrid option, which is the only plug-in minivan on the market at this time. It pairs a V6 engine with dual-electric motors and a 16kWh battery, generating 260 total system horsepower. With an EPA estimated city/highway combined fuel economy of 32 mpg/84 MPGe, the minivan delivers 33 miles of battery-only range when fully-charged.

We invite our Sioux Falls SD and Harrisburg SD customers to make the easy drive west when they're ready to explore the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica in person. We look forward to seeing you soon!
