The Chevy Silverado 1500 comes with several powertrains. All engines mentioned above can either be bolted to six, eight or 10-speed automatic transmission.

Even during towing and hauling, these trucks don't disappoint, but they differ with the tow ratings. The Silverado 1500 can tow a maximum of 13,300 pounds, while the Ram records 12,750 pounds tops.
Interior Features
The interior of the Ram 1500 is more upscale when compared to the Silverado 1500. The similar interior features they offer are heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated rear seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat.
Some interior features are included in the Ram 1500 but not in the Silverado 1500, such as a power-adjustable passenger seat, a height-adjustable driver's seat, ventilated rear seats, and a power-sliding rear window.
Exterior Features
On the exterior part, they both boast a variety of similar high-end features.
